Summary

LarpCasino is an entertainment and education app that simulates casino games using entirely fictional credits. It is not a casino, not a gambling operator, and not a betting service of any kind. No real money can be staked, won, or lost in it.

By downloading, installing, or using LarpCasino (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Age requirement

The App is for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to download or use it. It depicts simulated gambling and is rated 18+ for that reason.

Do not use the App if you are under that age, and do not make it available to anyone who is. If you share a device, it is your responsibility to keep the App away from those who may not lawfully use it.

What LarpCasino is

The App exists to show how the mathematics behind casino games actually works: how a house edge is taken, what return-to-player means, and how variance behaves over a long run. It is a toy and a teaching tool.

• Every credit, balance, bet, payout and statistic in the App is fictional and has no monetary value.
• The App does not connect to any casino, sportsbook, betting exchange, lottery, or payment rail.
• Nothing in the App can be deposited, withdrawn, cashed out, redeemed, exchanged, or transferred to another person or another app.
• No prize, reward, or item of value is ever awarded, and no outcome in the App entitles you to anything.
• Credits have no value inside the App and none outside it. They are a score, not a currency.

Not gambling, and not a gambling service

LarpCasino is not a casino, bookmaker, lottery, gaming operator, or money transmitter, and it is neither licensed nor regulated as one. Nothing of value is staked and nothing of value can be won.

We give no gambling, financial, or investment advice. The odds, multipliers, return figures and simulator results shown in the App describe the App’s own mathematics and nothing else. They are not predictions, they do not describe any real operator’s product, and they must not be relied on for any real-world wagering decision.

The App lets you choose a house edge, including one that favours the player. No real operator will do this. Do not mistake the App’s behaviour for the behaviour of a real game.

Simulated gambling and responsible use

Simulated gambling can still be habit-forming, and practice at favourable odds is not practice at real odds. Winning in the App means nothing about how you would fare anywhere else.

If gambling is or has been a problem for you, please consider carefully whether this App is appropriate for you, and seek support from a qualified organisation where you live. The App is entertainment and education. It is not treatment, advice, or a substitute for either.

No fraudulent or deceptive use

Do not use the App, its screens, or anything it produces to deceive another person. In particular, you must not:

• Present App screens, balances, or results as a real casino account, real winnings, or real funds.
• Use screenshots or recordings to induce anyone to send money, place a bet, or enter into an agreement.
• Present the App’s figures as evidence of a real balance, income, or gambling record to any person, employer, lender, platform, or authority.
• Use the App or its output to promote, advertise, or drive traffic to any real-money gambling service.
• Represent the App, or content made with it, as the official product of any real gambling brand or operator.

Using the App to defraud or mislead is a misuse of it and a breach of these Terms. It may also be a criminal offence where you live.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the App where simulated-gambling software is unlawful.
• Do not use the App to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the App, or attempt unauthorised access to it or to any system it relies on.
• Do not attempt to defeat, tamper with, or misrepresent any age restriction or purchase mechanism.
• Screenshots and recordings for personal use, role-play, streaming, review, or commentary are fine, subject to the deception limits above.

Intellectual property and reverse engineering

The App, its name, its mark, its interface, its artwork and its code belong to the developer and are protected by intellectual-property law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

You may not copy, modify, translate, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from the App; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent that such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law; remove or obscure any notice of ownership; or use its name, mark, or artwork in a way that implies endorsement.

No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that any figure it reports is accurate. Outcomes are produced by a pseudo-random generator, and no representation is made about its statistical properties beyond what the App itself displays.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the App, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid to use the App in the twelve months before the claim arose, or five pounds sterling.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party, including any claim arising from your use of App screens or output to mislead another person.

Your data

The App has no accounts and no analytics, and your play stays on your device.

Apple

If you obtained the App from the App Store, these Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for addressing any claim you may have relating to it.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the App. Your rights under them terminate automatically if you breach them. You may end them at any time by ceasing to use the App and deleting it.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, this page is updated and the effective date above is revised. Continued use of the App after a change takes effect is acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
